A parking place in Brownstown will be a hot commodity the first weekend in August, as Travis Tritt, CWG, Josh Meloy and all their friends roll into town for the Jackson County Watermelon Festival & Rock the Rind. While public & street parking will be available downtown we have partnered with local businesses to designate large lots for free parking, festival weekend. In addition, we will be providing a shuttle service from the fairgrounds lot, just East of the County jail. Although parking is limited around the courthouse square, we promise it'll be worth the walk!
